Prof. Audrey Addi-Raccah

Director

Audrey Addi-Raccah (Ph.D.) is associate professor at the School of Education at Tel-Aviv University.  She is the head of the MA program in Educational Policy and Management, and head the of the unit of sociology of education and community.  Addi-Raccah served in 2014 as the chair of the education committee on the 'war against poverty' that was nominated by the Ministry of welfare. In addition, she was the chairperson of the board of directors of "Mahut" center for developing and advancing schools-parents partnership. She participates in diverse committees for appointed by the Ministry of Education and the Initiative for Applied Education Research.  Her research is related to sociology of education and educational management with a focus on educational inequality, school effects, teachers and school principals' work and parental-involvement in education. In her research she uses mixed methodological approaches including large scale data. She has published in education and sociology journals.
